An oil painting of my favorite Antique Shades pansies, a yearly planting tradition in my garden. Painted with oil paints and oil pastels on Fabriano Artistico oil painting paper. A delicate brushing of metallic warm gold is painted around the pansies. Artwork is framed in an approximately 4.25 inch diameter brass, vintage frame. Aged frames come with slight imperfections that add to the their beauty and vintage charm. The painting can be hung by the top decorative loop. Because this is an oil painting, it does not include glass (oil paint needs the ability to “breathe” forever).

Artwork will be hand-signed upon purchase.

Paintings will be shipped within 3 weeks of purchase date to allow time for possible scanning for prints, varnish and drying.
