A favorite family summer tradition is driving to the country to pick berries! We pass fields of Queen Anne’s Lace on our way and this is the inspiration behind many paintings in this collection.

Created with layers of oil paint and oil pastel on gold-washed Fabriano Artistico cold pressed 100% textured cotton paper. The paper edges are deckled and painted with gold.

Oil pastels never fully dry but a fixative varnish has been applied to the painting and the piece will be packaged safely to ensure protection during transit. Artwork will be hand-signed upon purchase.

framing suggestion: paintings with natural deckled edges look lovely framed “float” style. I strongly advise framing behind glass to protect the soft nature of the oil pastels.
